Bonjour les cyclists, It is time to think about this year’s French Foray, 24th -26th April.  After deliberations with Ketchup about a twinning visit to Thury-Harcourt, we decided that time and cost were against us and we will try and plan the event for next year.  In view of the exchange rate at the moment, I have decided that a longer stay in France might work out too expensive, so I am sticking to our usual agenda, BUT, we are going to a different place. 

This year we will be going from Portsmouth to Caen where we will visit the Normandy beaches, cycling a similar distance, and taking time to enjoy the local gastronomic delights.  The cost will be £47.50 pp for a return berth in a 4 berth cabin and bicycle (a tandem counts as two bicycles).  The ferry will leave Portsmouth at 11.00pm Friday 24th arriving at Caen at 6.30am, and return from Caen at 11.00pm, arriving in Portsmouth at 6.30am Sunday 26th.  We are looking for 12 people to fill three cabins.  I need a response as soon as possible, please, telling me you wish to come, followed by cheques payable to me, Anne Roberts.  I need to receive these before I can make the booking.
