The first big event of the year is nearly upon us.  The next trip to Calshot Velodrome will be on Sunday the 15th March.  We have the track for three hours from 13:30 until 16:30.  We will again be coached by Commonwealth Games cyclist, Harry Jackson.  If you haven't been on the track before then it's difficult to explain the amazing rush you feel from the g-force as you the enter the first banked corner.  

 Even if track riding isn't something you think you'll end up doing regularly you should try it at least once in your cycling life.  Read the rest of the article to see a youtube video of the track as seen from the bike.

The cost of the day is £25 pounds and includes the loan of dolan track bikes and Harry the coach.  All you need to bring along is a lid and if you have cycling shoes then you can bring them along with your own pedals.
