My Madal’s Magical Mad March Meander may manifest a marvellous multitude of manageable manoeuvres as we cycle the paths of Exeter.
 
Sunday 8th March 2009.
 
Our meeting place is Honiton Road, Park and Ride (opposite the Met Office) and we aim to cycle away by 11:00 am.
 
We will gather at the exit of the car park on the higher level. This exit feeds into Bittern Road and you can always park here if you want, particularly if you have a roof cycle rack to avoid the height restriction in place for the main car park.
 
If you park in the Park and Ride you need a permit, however I am hoping to get permission for us to use the otherwise empty car park on our ride day (permission granted 25/02/09). If you would like to apply for a free permit apply here: http://www.devon.gov.uk/exeterparkcyclepermit
 
If you intend to cycle from Seaton a group will probably be leaving TIC at about 9:00 pm, please let me know if this is your intention.
 
For those looking for a short family ride, then please wait for us at the Venezia restaurant, The Quay, 61 Waterside, Exeter. EX2 8GY Map and be ready to leave by 11.45.
 
Once we are all together most of our pedalling will be along the river and the canal, with probably a pub stop at Turf Locks.
