Despite ‘doing our bit’ for climate change and riding whenever we can, the Axe Valley Pedallers will always be out whatever the weather!
The mountain bikers have been making the most of the winter conditions in preparation for the longer, lighter, warmer evenings by getting out on the many bridleways and tracks we have in our beautiful East Devon, and sometimes further afield.
This winter the Pedallers have had trips to Woodbury, Dartmoor and we even made a break for the border into Dorset….passports at the ready! Later this year we have a trip to the mountain bike Worldcup Downhill Championships in Fort William. For those not wanting such a big adrenalin rush, why not join one of our regular Thursday evening rides with Ben Dowell or join Kimmo Evans for one of his family friendly introductions to mountain biking as part of National Bike Week in June, in association with the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
