Members of Axe Valley Pedallers were out on the Pedalabout at Fisherman’s Gap in Seaton for the second time in two weeks as they started to prepare the ground for the summer flowers. A couple of bikes had to be bedded back in with a bit more concrete and a new ‘old’ bike was recycled from transportation to decoration.
The Pedallers were spotted braving the elements as they weeded the borders during the lightening storm the other week and then they reappeared to give the bikes a fresh coat of paint last Friday.
Sebastian Cope, the Project Manager of the Pedalabout said “we get so many compliments from people about the Pedalabout, who all say its great fun and brilliant for Seaton!” Sebastian continued “this is a community project for us and our club is a community cycling club with all welcome, come along and join us for our National Bike Week rides and picnic in the park on Sunday 12th June, starting at 10:00 am by the Seaton Tram Station.”
