Quiff's Quest - The April Ride - Easter Sunday |

Quiff’s Quest is to cycle the Granite Way on the edge of Dartmoor and he is our ride leader for our 2nd Sunday of the month ride in April (Easter Sunday 12th).
There will be just one ride on the actual Granite way itself, which is 11 miles from Okehampton to Lydford making a return journey a total of 22miles. There is plenty of info about the route in this Booklet (pdf file a bit slow to download but worth it).
Okehampton is 47miles drive from Seaton with a travel time of 1hr 15mins (according to the AA route planner), a bit of car sharing could make this a bit greener.
Meet/start at Okehampton train station at 11am, the map shows parking in the town, parking is available at the station but they do close the gates at 5pm ( this could be a problem if we have a delay but hope to be back before then ).
There are plenty of pubs along the way and possible picnic sites if the weather is nice.
