 Sunday 10th May 2009 is the date for the first joint club ride with the Exeter section of the Cycle Touring Club (CTC) of Devon. In fact, this is our first official joint ride with another club and so here we are breaking new ground with AVP again as the club continues to expand.
CTC Exeter will meet us at Seaton Tourist Information Centre (TIC), near the tramway. Lets hope for good weather and also a fine floral display, as this is Bondie’s Bluebell ride and last year the bluebells were just wonderful and intoxicatingly fragrant!
The ride will take us to Lyme Regis via Woodhouse Hill and the bluebell woodland. At Lyme we intend to go to a park and enjoy a sandwich or small picnic with our fellow pedallers from Exeter, so bring along some food. After that Bondie will seek out some more Bluebells for the return run to Seaton.
All of us at AVP are really looking forward to this joint ride and welcoming Exeter CTC to our club. |
